Look What's Happening at West Madison

On Monday night at PTA meeting, our 5th Graders had a hero celebration. Several weeks ago, each student wrote an essay about someone who was special to them. Many chose their parents, grandparents and members of our school community. Nurse Aimee was chosen as a hero to one of our students. It was such a special ceremony to honor those people special to the students. There wasn't a dry eye when the winning essays were read by the students.

You don't have to be afraid

Of what you are

If you reach into your soul

And the sorrow that you know will melt away."
