We have been busy at West Madison!
The last two weeks have been awesome. Our kids and teachers are all working really hard. There is a lot of collaboration going on in Expanded Day and in a fifth grade social studies class.
Writing about Math!
Why is it important? Our students need to understand why math is important. We use math everyday. We as adults understand that but students constantly ask, "Why are we learning this?" These students are learning, to build a house, to pay for an item from a store and if you are a baker, you need to understand math.
