Parents, we want to honor you!
We will be honoring all parents who are Veterans on Monday November 10 at 7:40 AM in the gym in a Veteran's Day Assembly. If you are a Veteran and are able to attend, please contact Mrs. Wendy Tibbs at 256-837-1189 or wtibbs@madisoncity.k12.al.us by Thursday, November 6. Everyone is asked to wear red, white and or blue. We look forward to this time to honor you!
AR Assemblies
Friday, we had our first WM AR Assembly. I am so proud of our student. I was excited to wear my special AR shoes. They were given to me from the AR Assembly Committee.

We had a great week! Everyone had such great school spirit. Students and teachers dressed as their future careers, in their favorite sports teams, and in their WMES shirts.

Professional Day for Teachers
Teachers met on Friday to learn about student goal setting. Learning Targets (goals) are for teachers and students. "Leaders of Their Own Learning" by Ron Berger is a book teachers will begin reading this year to learn more about helping students set goals.
