Look What's Happening at West Madison

We had 22 4th -6th graders compete in the Randolph Raider Math Challenge today.  They came home with the hardware below.  I am so proud of them.   Hard work does pay off.

This week began with a group of 6th Graders taking the ACT Aspire Test on Tuesday!
"Let's Go 6th Grade, Let's Go!" Chants from the 3rd graders who lined the halls.

Aubteen honored at the Madison City Board Meeting on Thursday night for getting 2nd place in the state chess tournament with the Madison Chess League!  








A Talented Group of Enrichment Students went to the State House in Montgomery on Wednesday.  

They got a chance to lobby for additional funding in Alabama for gifted education!










Our last month of SciQuest.  It has been wonderful.  The students have truly enjoyed their STEM classes.  We can't wait to see what's in store for next year.  













Rick Shelton was back to work with teachers and students on writing.  
He worked with 1st grade, 4th grade and 5th grade.  He will be back in May to work with another group of students and teachers.  Great day of learning for teachers and students.
